ALEXBANK has established three different mutual funds to meet customer needs, and hereunder you can find an overview of these funds.

 

Equity Fund - Capital Appreciation Fund 

An open- ended mutual fund launched in 1994 in accordance with the provisions of the Capital Market Law No. 95 of 1992 and its Executive Regulations under the Financial Regulatory Authority License No. 31 dated 28/9/1994.

The fund aims to invest its funds in forming a diversified portfolio of local securities.

Investment Guidelines:

Equity

Minimum of 45% - Maximum of 90% of portfolio

Bonds & Sukuk

Maximum of 50%

Cash & Other Liquidity Assets

Minimum of 5% - Maximum of 30%

Subscription and Redemption:

Subscription and redemption during week days from Sunday to Thursday and settlement is done on the following Sunday - free of charge.

Money Market Fund - Cumulative Daily

An open - ended mutual fund established in 2006 in accordance with the provisions of the Capital Market Law No. 95 of 1992 and its Executive Regulations under the license of the Financial Regulatory Authority No. 343 dated 26/6/2006.

The fund invests in a variety of local short-term fixed-income securities, in order to offer investors an accumulated daily income with short- and medium-term liquidity.

CBE Certificates

100% of portfolio

Cash & Other Liquidity Assets

100% of portfolio

Treasury & Corporate Bonds

Maximum of 49% (collectively)

Certificates of Deposit

Maximum of 60%

Similar Mutual Funds Certificates

Maximum of 30%

Subscription and Redemption:

Daily subscription and redemption - free of charge.

Fixed income Instrument Fund

An open investment fund established in 2010 in accordance with the provisions of the Capital Market Law No. 95 and its Executive Regulations under the license of the Financial Regulatory Authority License No. 569 dated 3/3/2010.

The fund aims to form a portofolio of diversified fixed-income instruments that offers possibility distributions quarterly.

Treasury Bonds

Maximum of 95%

Certificates of Deposits

Maximum of 25%

Time Deposits

Maximum of 20%

Mortgage-Backed Securities

Maximum of 10%

Fixed Income and/or Money Market Mutual Funds Certificates

Maximum of 20%

Subscription and Redemption:

Subscription throughout the week from Monday to Sunday of the following week and redemption monthly on the first Sunday of each month - free of charge.
