International Bank Account Number "IBAN"
The International Bank Account Number (IBAN) will be used in all incoming and outgoing transfers effective of June 30th, 2020.
IBAN is an advanced account format that takes into account your existing Basic Banking Account Number (BBAN) to facilitate the processing of international banking transfers, while incorporating your country code, bank code and branch code.
Each bank account has a unique designated IBAN to facilitate money transfers worldwide.
In order to safely transfer your money, please make sure to use your IBAN in all incoming and outgoing local and international transfers starting June 30th, 2020.
Please note that your existing bank account number will still be valid post June 30th, 2020 for use in incoming and outgoing local transfers.
Customers will be required to start using the IBAN upon sending or receiving international transfers as of June 30th, 2020.
