Following Central Bank of Egypt's approval assignment of Bassel Rahmy and Paolo Vivona as new members of AlexBank’s Board of Directors

Rahmy and Vivona will both take on the BOD duties along with their current duties.
With  more than 20 years experience in the banking sector, Bassel held key positions with several prominent multinational and regional banking entities in which he achieved remarkable success. Rahmy held the position of Head of branches and Premier Banking  with Barclays Bank Egypt and NSGB ( Currently QNB Al Ahli ) . He started his banking career at Arab Bank  and Citibank where he rose through the ranks in various roles. Rahmy holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration from the Freed-Hardeman University, USA.
Paolo Vivona possesses a vast experience of over 20 years in the banking sector where he assumed several major posts. He served as Branch Manager of Sanpaolo IMI –Tokyo from 2000 to 2006. He also served as a Relationship manager at Bank of Qingdao- China then Vice President and Head of Risk Management at the same Bank. Long before that, in 1989, Vivona had joined Intesa Sanpaolo Bank in Milan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of the Sacred Heart, Milan, Italy.
