ALEXBANK, part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group within the International Banks Division, embarked on a new strategic partnership with Ahl Masr Foundation and Burn Hospital through its affiliated Inclusion Center under the project “The Reintegration of Burn Victims through Economic Empowerment.” This collaboration marks a new milestone in ALEXBANK’s ongoing efforts to address the social and economic challenges faced by marginalized groups, particularly burn survivors from underprivileged communities, managed by the Bank’s CSR teams.
Through this collaboration, ALEXBANK will support and equip a dedicated production unit for the Taft Carpet Project, providing vocational training, sustainable employment opportunities, and a pathway toward reintegration for 50 burn survivors over the next three years.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Paolo Vivona, CEO and Managing Director of ALEXBANK, and Dr. Heba El Sewedy, Founder and Chairwoman of Ahl Masr Foundation and Burn Hospital, in the presence of Ms. Mariam El Gammal, Head of Human Resources and Organization at ALEXBANK; Ms. Farida El Kattan, Head of CSR and Shared Value at ALEXBANK; Ms. Iman Sherif, Chief Executive Officer of Ahl Masr Foundation; and all relevant teams. This partnership reinforces a shared commitment to driving meaningful social and economic impact.
