  • Below 100K : 0.00%
  • 100K - 750K : 11%
  • 750K - 2.5M : 13%
  • 2.5M - 5M : 14%
  • 5M - 20M : 16.5%
  • 20M - 50M : 17%
  • 50M and above : 18%

• No, it’s only in EGP currency.

• No, because it's a Saving account which doesn’t offer cheque books.

• Interest is calculated on the lowest balance during the month and is credited on the last working day in the month.

For Example:

• If a customer credits EGP 150,000 into his account but withdraws EGP 60,000 within the same month, the remaining balance becomes EGP 90,000. Since that’s the lowest balance during the month, it will be the amount used to calculate the interest. But while it’s less than EGP 100,000, the interest rate applied will be 0%.
• If the customer opens the account on the 2^nd or 3^rd day of the month, or even in the middle of the month, even if he credits EGP 5 million (which qualifies for the highest interest rate), unfortunately, no interest will be calculated because the account was not opened on the 1^st day of the month.
